No to Amnesty, Please!
I have been busy with my kids lately to blog. I got my daughter into a good school next year and that was an accomplishment. The school she is in now is going down hill. I am not a racist but I see the illegals every day when I take my child to school. I’m on the PTA and SSC too. The Illegals don’t want to contribute to the school. They don’t volunteer because of language, they don’t speak English! They also have an education barrier that they did not finish school to begin with. We need to secure our boarder to keep the illegals from coming in and dragging down our schools. Since our school is a Title I school they receive money from the feds to help disadvantaged. Well, that does not help my child, who has a learning disability. I have her in special ed right now, but want to move her to a regular class room. NO, can’t do it because the school is at 50% on API. Being two grade levels behind would drag the class to emergency levels. So I just transferred my daughter to a school up the hill with mostly English speakers and at 80- - 90 % API. Now I just hope I can get my soon to be Kindergarten daughter in the same school. I’ll post more on Fullerton School Districts Open Enrollment Policy change later this week. I’ll attend the board meeting tomorrow.
