Home Grown Terror in CA

Friday, September 16th, 2005

I live about a half a mile where the cops arrested the two local homegrown terrorists on July 5Th. We got to be vigilant and keep up on fighting these bad guys. I’m glad the troops are doing a great job on the GWOT. We will win this war. At home and abroad, we must save our way of life. Our future depends on it.

Northrup Grumman Ship yard

Friday, September 9th, 2005

Here is the press release on the Ship yard:

PASCAGOULA, Miss , Sept. 2, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) — Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE:NOC) heavy equipment operator Owen McLeod clears storm debris from the dry dock alongside the large-deck amphibious carrier Makin Island (LHD 8) during recovery operations at Northrop Grumman’s Pascagoula shipyard, part of the Ship Systems sector.

A photo accompanying this release is available at: http://media.primezone.com/noc/

The Ship Systems sector is in recovery mode. Critical supplies for recovery of operations and support to personnel have flowed into company facilities over the last 24 hours. All facilities are making progress in damage assessment, clean-up and restoration of capabilities. Of highest priority are the direct support of company personnel and the restoration of shipbuilding operations. The sector is experiencing progress in virtually all areas to bring its operations online.

Reasons why Red Cross not in New Orleans

Thursday, September 8th, 2005

Now the word is out about why water and food and supplies for the surviving citizens at the Supper Dome and Convention center. Major Garret from Fox News called the Red Cross  (HT Hugh Hewitt  and Captain’s Quarters) and asked. How come the MSM in the Big Easy rushing around did not take the time to ask the right questions and the right people? No, they must blame the president–(Bash Bush, Bash Bush!). Lets put the blame on the local government and state homeland security officials who did not follow their own evacuation plans and allow aid to come in. The people suffered because of their own officials incompetence.

Update on USS NY

Wednesday, September 7th, 2005

Well, it seems the USS NY is being built in the ship yards in Louisiana. No word if the New York got destroyed in the Katrina Storm Surge or not. Hat tip to Little Green Footballs.

Update: Here is an compilation of links on 9/11 events coming up this weekend and more information on the USS New York. Still no word on its status from the Hurricane Katrina.

Gay Marriage, What about the children?

Wednesday, September 7th, 2005

And now our state legislators have voted in a "Gay Marriage bill!" I am so mad! My whole complaint is Children need A Mother and A Father. Everybody thinks about their rights but nobody thinks about the children. The "gay" marriage issue is not a rights issue but a "behavior" issue. They forget that Marriage by Prop. 22 is between a Man and a Woman. Gays want the right to behave the way they want. Children need a stable home with both Mom and Dad around. Marriage is a "Contract" to have a family and the rights involved in raising the "prodigy" produced in the "Contract." Sexual behavior is not in the "Contract!" And I can’t wait to hear the gays start screaming when they get the "Marriage Tax Bill." Wait, I bet they’ll get that waved too, but the strait married people will still get stuck paying the bills. I hope Gov. Arnold Vetoes the bill.

Barbara Bush Comments

Tuesday, September 6th, 2005

Boy are the liberals going to have a hay-day with the former First Lady’s comments on the "impoverished." I agree that with the devastation of their homes they can re-build their lives and become self sufficient. With job training the poor can learn to get out of the hole and become contributing members of society. I hope some of the money coming in from charity addresses this problem.

Follow the Plan? NO!

Sunday, September 4th, 2005

I hate the way people have been pointing fingers at President Bush for not coming in sooner to help the city of New Orleans refuges. I think we have to look  to the Mayor Nagen and city officals not following though on the disaster plan. The sick, infermed and poor could have been bussed out with over 200 school busses within the 72 - 48 hours. Evacutaion centers also did not have supplies ready for those evacutees. In Orange County CA. we have a plan for south county for evacuation in case of San Onofre has a  radiation leak. And we have our plans for earthquakes. Each family should have three days of supplies as federal relief takes up to 72 hours to get to people.

Katrina Relief part II

Thursday, September 1st, 2005

Since I’m a football fan I have picked Brett Favre’s foundation for Hurricane Relief. Brett’s foundation supports poor children in the Mississippi area. They will send the relief money to those in need. I hope you’ll donate to other funds, such as the Red Cross and Feed the Children.

Soldier’s Angels is also a good place to donate and pal up with soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan and returning National Guard members.
