Bush at Coronado

Wednesday, August 31st, 2005

Bush’s speech at Coronado was impressive. He compared WWII to the GWOT.

In the midst of this struggle, we have confidence in our cause because we know that America has faced down brutal enemies before. We have confidence in our cause because we’ve seen the power of freedom to overcome the darkness of tyranny and terror. And we have confidence in our cause because we know the character and courage of those who wear the uniform of the United States military.

Right on Commander-In-Chief! The Military are proud to serve under you!

Camp Crawford

Saturday, August 27th, 2005

I think Ms. Sheehan is a real kook, on the fringe for sure! She will not meet with the "You don’t speak for me Cindy" tour people. She said the woman heading up supports the war (i.e. support the Bush administration–Stay the Course). and her son was not killed in battle. Ms. Sheehan says most Americans are on her side of the fence and want the troops to come home ASAP. Sorry, the latest poll states:

Overall attitudes about the war _ while negative _ haven’t changed dramatically through the summer. A solid majority, 60 percent, want U.S. troops to stick it out until Iraq is stable.

We might not all agree about the war, but we sure want our men and women to complete the mission before the troops are sent home. Cindy, your son died with honor. Please don’t tread over his grave.

Walter Reed PRotests

Thursday, August 25th, 2005

How low can those pinko-commies go? The men and women who fight for our nation so we can have freedom, and sacrifice their lives for ours. How can anyone protest and claim the president’s lies made them a cripple? Give me a break. BTW the base closure committee voted to close Walter Reed and move staff over to Bethesda, MD.

Kidos to Rush and his G’tmo gear!

USS New York

Tuesday, August 23rd, 2005

Being a navy wife, somethings my Navy Husband never tells me until I find it on the net.  I did not know the USS NY will have some WTC steel in the bow area. How fitting! Take that you terrorists! Those hero’s did not die in vain.

Someone you should know

I found some fallen hero’s stories at Blackfive, including Casey Sheehan.

Gold Star Moms who whine to the Left

Friday, August 19th, 2005

I’d like to meet you Cindy Sheehan and ask, " How could you do this to your Son! He loved God and his country." Your  son re-enlisted to support the war effort and his "Brother’s in Arms." I can understand your grief and pain at losing your son. I have the same dilemma with my husband. He is a Navy Reservist and could possibly go to war. I understand his desire to serve his country and support him 100%. If he goes and doesn’t come back I’m not going to do what you are doing. I honor my husband’s service to the country he loves.

The war is saving US and our way of life. But the anti-war movement doesn’t see it that way. They want a figurehead and you are it.

Lastly Cindy, you also dishonor your son by calling his Commander-In-Chief a "Terrorist!" How dare you!

Shot pots in Jordan

Friday, August 19th, 2005

Those rag heads are taken pot shots at us in Jordan. I’m sorry to hear about one Jordanian Solder got killed. May God bless the family, we are allies in this "War of Terror."

I’m also thankful that we had no casualties. I keep thinking about the USS Cole. It gets me mad as hell that Clinton said if he had info that Bin Laden was responsible for the Cole bombing he would do something about it. Yeah, right. Hey Bubba, you had ‘Able Danger’ and you couldn’t do anything because those "Terrorists" were in the US legally! Thank God for W! I pray for the troops, support the War on Terror and Love the USA!

Bolton Appointment

Tuesday, August 2nd, 2005

The democrats are having tissy fits about a  recess appointment of John Bolton to the UN ambassador. Every president has a constitutional right to make appointments during a recess of the senate. If you look past the  "60" votes required from filibuster vote, Mr. Bolton did receive a majority of the senate with about 56 votes. The constitution is the law of the land. I don’t believe it is a living document, but one that is long standing by our founding fathers. Stop having fits and run the government. (Opps, forgot the senate is out on recess gathering steam for our Supreme court nominate, Judge Roberts).
